Overview

Carmen is a HT gas/condensate field, which was discovered in 2023 by the Wellesley operated 35/10-10S and 35/10-10A wells. The 35/10-10S well discovered good quality Brent and Cook reservoirs in a fault-bounded structure. The 35/10-10A well established water-up-to levels in the discovered reservoirs, however uncertainty remains on the contact depths in the different areas of the field. Carmen will be appraised to reduce the volumetric uncertainty and move the project forwards to be developed as a subsea tieback to nearby infrastructure.
