Kari holds an MSc in geophysics from the University of Bergen.
She entered the industry in 2006 as a geophysicist for Skagen44, working mainly on Barents Sea prospectivity. In 2007 Kari joined Revus Energy, where she was part of the team working up the Skarfjell Discovery.
Kari remained with Wintershall, following its acquisition of Revus, until 2012, when she joined Agora Oil & Gas prior to that company’s acquisition by Cairn Energy PLC. In Cairn, Kari continued to explore in the greater Skarfjell area, and also contributed to licence round applications and business development opportunities.
Kari joined Wellesley in March 2015 where her most recent role was managing the Company’s new venture projects.
